My photography style is..
all about capturing light, embracing bold colors, adding in a pinch of moody, and, most of all, YOU! Although I incorporate traditional, posed photos into every session, I prefer those candid shots and work hard to put you at ease in order to capture authentic moments. I adore mountain scenery, tall grass, and all the natural goodness that Southwest Virginia has to offer.
From your wedding day to the birth of your children and beyond, I love preserving your memories and having the opportunity to follow along with you through all of life's big moments.
Before your session..
I am happy to help you with wardrobe and styling. I will send you color pallets and even exact links to clothing items that look beautiful in photos. We will discuss the exact vibe you are looking for in your images and I'll help you choose the perfect location for your photos. Already have a location in mind? That is great too! I'm willing to travel anywhere within the Tri-Cities! My goal is to create beautiful photos that you will cherish and that will decorate the walls of your house for years to come.
During your session..
expect lots of laughs, cuddles, and a good time to be had by all. I love playing games with your kids to make sure we get those genuine smiles. Fully expect me to tell you to do silly things with your partner and share some intimate moments as well, in order to really capture your connection. I'm never above telling Dad jokes or hiking up the side of a mountain - whatever it takes to tell your story, I want to do it.
